Frequently Asked Questions/FAQ
HOW LONG DOES YOUR REPAIR SERVICE TAKE?
While we strive for timely service, length of repair is variable based on the needs of the device, availability of parts, and the speed of shipping. For Macs, our typical turn around time is 3-5 business days, with limited priority options. Many iPhone repairs can be completed same day, but some may take a business day or more to complete.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept most all forms of payment, including check, cards, Apple Pay. We cannot process Apple ID Balance and we do not offer financing options.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
Nope! We are walk-in friendly, though Apple does enable appointments with us through their support page. If you are unable to bring in your device during our typical M-F hours, we do offer limited Saturday drop-off/pick-up appointments. Please call to schedule.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY DEVICE?
As we cannot offer estimates without diagnosis, we do need the device brought in. For specific repairs, we can offer on-site services, though additional fees will apply. Please call for more details.
WHAT IS FIND MY IPHONE? WHY DO YOU NEED IT TURNED OFF FOR REPAIR?
Find My is a feature on Apple devices that enables you to track and, to an extent, remotely manage your devices. In order for us to process repairs with Apple, the Find My feature must be turned off. Explore how here or here.
DO YOU HAVE TRANSLATORS AVAILABLE?
Unfortunately, our staff is solely English-speaking. If needed, we request you bring your own translator.
DO I NEED TO BACK UP MY DATA?
We always recommend you back up your device both consistently and before bringing it in, as some repairs may require your device be erased.
CAN YOU RECOVER MY DATA?
We can certainly try, but, depending on the condition of the device, data recovery is best effort. We do charge labor for the service.
CAN YOU HELP WITH MY APPLE ID?
While we are certainly familiar with the steps of changing an Apple ID password, the features of the Apple ID, or entering Apple ID recovery, we do not have the same authority Apple does in this field. We recommend working with Apple directly if you are having Apple ID difficulties.
MY IPHONE/IPAD IS DISABLED? CAN YOU FIX IT?
Of course! It may be your device needs an update or to be restored. Theoretically, you should be able to do this yourself, as long as you have access to your Apple ID and password, a Mac, or a computer with iTunes. However, if you do not have access to a Mac/iTunes or are facing any additional problems, we can service the device at a cost of half an hour of our priority labor.
